According to the Northwest Catholic organization, the mission of the magazine is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to Catholics in Western Washington, to teach, inspire and form disciples who know the Lord and live their faith to the full.
In the June 2015 edition, we hear from retired archbishop J. Peter Sartain, who served as the fifth archbishop of the Archdiocese of Seattle in Washington State from 2010 to 2019.

In the article Sartain explores the true meaning "to live," and to explore this phrase, through the Christian lens, one cannot start with the word "I." Rather, To live means to be desired and loved by God, moment after moment. To find meaning and purpose in life, one has to surrender to God's love.
The archbishop goes on to say that in this day and age, surrendering oneself is not such an easy task, and is even countercultural, not to mention being upside-down in logic. For to completely lose oneself in God's love, to nurture that relationship with God, is what brings so much more to life. Whereas, if you make yourself the center of life, you only lessen yourself. Sartain would also go on to talk about Pope Francis requesting Catholics to celebrate a Year of Consecrated Life.
Overall, a well written article from the Christian perspective, but also one that essentially doesn't answer the question of meaning; rather leaves it in God's hands to guide each individual through their relationship with him to discover. You can find the article online here.
