In the 2006 April/May edition of the now defunct magazine, Complex, there is an article which features Eminem and Obie Trice.

The cover promises us "Rehab Gunshots and the Meaning of Life." In the article "Em" focuses on going through rehab for sleeping pills, his newest album, the endless grind of touring, traveling, and trying to be at home for family, and what it was like to be semi-retired. Obie talks about being shot in the head, surviving, and rapping.
Though the article doesn't specifically mention the meaning of life, we find that Em cares a lot about his family and is learning to adapt to fame. He also talks about remarrying Kim (who he would later divorce again in the same year). Unfortunately, you're not going to find much more depth beyond that. This is not the first example of a magazine selling the "meaning of life" and then offering the audience little to no substance. On its own, not a bad article, just not very philosophical in nature.
