What is the meaning of life?
The meaning of life is known to the Maker, but is the Maker known to us? Which compels me to ask: what is the meaning of life for me—or by extension, what is the meaning for all of us, since we are all one in our humanity, but not, however, in Being. With this logic then, the meaning of life for me can only be defined in terms of who and what and where I am within the ultimate strictures of life. The highet Being we can conceive of is God, and therefore I must inevitably measure myself in relation to what is highest, and from this I must conclude that the meaning of life for me will be determined by my Being.
Growth in Being begins with growth in consciousness, and while life itself is consciousness, I can only grow further through personal effort, sacrifice and suffering my weaknesses, which will lead eventually to an awakening of my conscience, for conscience is the one truth for all humanity, and the closest we can come to God. Therefore it is through our awakened conscience that we must direct our struggle to Be and Become, which means that by taking responsibility for our lives we will come to know the meaning of life for ourselves.
