Note: Rex was kind enough to send us a copy of his book. We read it, and chapter 6 outlines how part of his purpose in life was to follow Jesus Christ. He also discusses many lessons he learned along the way, e.g., controlling temper, submission to God’s plan (when he didn’t get the job he wanted—either through self declining the job, or other factors), etc.

He quotes Tim McGaw “Always stay humble and kind.” Even through difficult times, heartache, poor medical care, and through everything else. He is proud of his accomplishments and even established a scholarship fund. Check the book out titled The Road to the Horseshoe and Beyond. In short, he emphasizes faith, family, friendship, and personal growth
