What is the meaning of life?

It’s not my style to think of “the” meaning of life.  I think it’s very different to each person if they find out that they can make the meaning(s) exactly their own—and change them whenever they want.  I had a great mom who gave me self esteem and so when I came face to face to the racism and hate in the U.S. south in 1961, my life change forever.  I was 16 and went through crisis—3 mental hospitalizations in one year, not wanting to live in a world of violence and injustice.  I was present at Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech and realized you don’t kill yourself, you make revolution.  So at age 18—in my 3rd hospitalization—I decided, as a political act to never have another bad day—now solid for 54 years to be happy, funny, loving, cooperative, creative and thoughtful.  So, I’ve lived a radiant and goofy activists life in so many ways.  I’ve lived as a clown and a doctor.  I hold my great sources come from friends, nature and the arts.  It has been breath taking to be alive each day and it gets really easy.
